Hupo Hönigl joins Team Checkpoint

Team Checkpoint rceently announced the addition of top European driver Hubert Hönigl of Austria to their team. Hupo will be using Checkpoint motors and batteries to power his cars at coming races all around Europe. One of Europe's top drivers, Hubert "Hupo" Hönigl is a former European 2WD Champion and has numerous great results in both Touring Cars and 12th scale, most recently making the 1:12 Mod A final at the the International Indoor Championships in Las Vegas.

Before that he also won the Crete 1/8 Buggy EFRA GP with a Kyosho Inferno. Hupo's other main sponsors are Team Losi and Team CRC.

After 14 months of development, Team Checkpoint's new line of modified motors have now been available for a few months. The same motors, armatures and brushes that power factory drivers Jared Tebo and Josh Numan to victory lane, are now available to every racer. Team Checkpoint will soon be releasing many more new products including a 19 turn and a stock motor as well as competition batteries and accessories.
