FCG Chassis: (FCG) stands for Forward
Center of Gravity. This new design moves the center differential
and engine forward to improve handling.
|
|
|
The super strong steel CVD’s have been refined
to allow for increased steering throw. This gives a more positive
feel and increased low speed maneuverability. The increased range
of motion also adds to the durability.

CNC machined from high quality
7075-T6 aluminum these clutch shoes are anodized blue for easy
identification. The long life shoes require little maintenance
and offer improved performance, allowing you to put the power to
the ground.

The Sportwerks V2 racing engine
features a 7-port design along with a turbo crankshaft with flow-ported
passageways and lightened crank weight. Improvements to the V2
include raised exhaust port timing for increased power.
|
|
|
This one-piece engine mount stiffens the center
part of the chassis and eliminates the possibility of the clutch
bell striking the chassis after a hard landing. Crankcase flex
is also eliminated allowing for a freer revving engine.

The fuel tank design includes a splashguard and
overspill tray that routes excess fuel through the bottom of the
chassis. The tank lid design includes a multi-position pressure
tap, and internally there is a zinted bronze fuel filter.

The .21 V2 features an aluminum backplate for a
strong solid seal.

5mm 7075 T-6 Aluminum shock towers front and rear
add strength but have been lightened and scalloped to reduce weight.
Torque Rod stiffeners in the center help eliminate chassis flex.
The center diff plate and top plate are all CNC-machined.

The Turmoil shocks are hard anodized with threaded
shock bodies for easy adjustment. The ultra strong 3.5mm shock
shaft are surround by protective rubber shock boots.

Capped wheel nuts add style. Each nut is anodized
blue and features a laser etched Sportwerks logo.

Gray medium/firm springs offer a excellent balance,
soft enough to handle the rough terrain but firm enough for high-speed
stability.

Aluminum camber shims on the upper and lower front
arms allow for precise adjustment and are color coded by size.
|
|

The beefy 5mm front shock tower is scalloped and
lightened for weight reduction.

The 5mm rear tower is also scalloped and lightened.
|

The rear body mount sits lower in the chassis allowing
for the new low profile Turmoil body.

The pro linkage offers micro-fine adjustments for
throttle, front brake bias and rear brake bias. Color-coded adjustment
nuts make quick reference easy during hectic race conditions.

Hard anodized sway bar pivot mounts.

The ackerman rack offers three positions to fine-tune
steering feel. Updated bell-cranks feature threaded bushings and
allow for stronger and smoother operation.
