the E-Savage delivers.
The Twin Vertical Plates (TVP) chassis design
was inspired by the time-tested durability of our Savage line.
Twin Vertical Plates serve as the stable core of the chassis design,
providing the critical strength needed to stand up the abuse of
hard off-road driving. The rigid aluminum TVP chassis has a stylish
design that places the front, rear and center gear boxes between
two upright aluminum plates. With the V-shaped battery layout (VBL)
we have placed the batteries (the heaviest items on the truck)
at the lowest possible position to make the center of gravity very
low for quick and precise handling.
The E-Savage has a symmetrical power train layout
with twin motors located around the center and twin batteries on
the left and right sides of the chassis. This layout creates excellent
chassis balance to contribute to great drivability on rough terrain
and stability in high-speed driving. Full-time 4WD puts the power
to the ground at all four corners, with 8 oil-filled shocks to
soak up the bumps. The result is a real go-anywhere monster truck.
TWIN MOTORS & TWIN
Two high-power 550-size motors come pre-installed, giving the E-Savage
the power you need for off-road action and wheelies on command.
Each motor has a cooling fan inside so they run cool and generate
high power. Two 3300 mAh 7.2V rechargeable Ni-MH battery packs
are included for 14.4 volts of electric off-road power. And,
the included GT Escape charger allows both batteries to be recharged
at the same time.
SPEED CONTROL !
The E-Savage comes equipped with an easy-to-use electronic speed
control to handle the twin motors and twin batteries. The GT
Speed Control delivers fully proportional throttle control and
has built-in reverse to power you out of sticky situations. The
FASF (Fully Automatic Setup Function) automatically sets up the
speed control, no adjustments necessary, just plug in and drive.
A large purple anodized alloy heat sink and electronic overload
prevention circuitry automatically protects the ESC from overheating.
A high capacity twin plate slipper clutch is
attached to the spur gear to protect the drive system from impact
while jumping. Placing the spur gear between two slipper disks
helps the drive train handle the power of the twin motors and can
be adjusted to track conditions.
SET OF BALL BEARINGS
Twenty two precision manufactured ball bearings
are used in the drive train to reduce maintenance and efficiently
transmit the power of twin motors and twin batteries to the tires.
Big 5.4 inch diameter tires easily climb over
fist-sized rocks. The block pattern of the tread ensures long life
and stable grip on dirt and paved surfaces. The tires are wrapped
around high gloss chrome wheels, pre-glued with inner foams pre-installed.
The wheels and tires are compatible with a huge variety already
available on the market for the Savage, so customizing your E-Savage

The E-Savage RTR contains everything you need
to run! A factory pre-assembled chassis, radio set and printed
and trimmed body are all included in the E-Savage RTR. It also
comes with two rechargeable Ni-MH battery packs and a high performance
quick charger capable of charging both battery packs simultaneously.
