Team Losi revolutionized 1/8-scale buggy racing with the 8IGHT, the first genuinely new design in more than a decade. Now they’ve done the same for ready-to-run drivers with the 8IGHT RTR. Starting with the same innovative ultra-narrow chassis and drivetrain layout, the 8IGHT RTR packs authoritative power and handling right out of the box.

Team Losi’s 427 engine and tuned exhaust come pre-installed, along with Spektrum’s crystal-free DX2 radio system for unmatched control. The centrally mounted motor, oversized shocks, thick aluminum chassis, and numerous other ingenious features yield both performance and durability. When it comes to the combination of features and race-inspired performance in a ready-to-run buggy, no one comes close to the 8IGHT RTR from Team Losi.

The oversized, machined aluminum shock bodies are hard anodized for smooth operation and wear resistance. Threaded shock collars offer easy yet precise adjustment of pre-load and ride height.

Designed for easy maintenance and cleanup, the 8IGHT RTR features a one-piece removable radio tray. Simply remove a few screws and take the whole radio tray out for routine maintenance or cleaning.

The adjustable Ackerman steering rack provides better turn-in and precise control as well as additional tuning options to help you drive comfortably at speed on a broad range of conditions.

Front and rear differential housings are sealed against the elements, protecting each diff from foreign matter. The tight tolerance diff gears take better advantage of the viscous effect for superior traction and acceleration.

The captured hinge pin system eliminates the need for retaining clips. The combination of the aluminum alloy pin brace and the molded retainer cover keep precise alignment and free movement for consistent handling and smooth suspension response.
